Welcome to Good Guise Studio! By choosing to work with us, you're agreeing to the following terms and conditions. These help keep things clear, fair, and stress-free for both of us. If you have any questions, just get in touch — we're here to help.

These Terms & Conditions outline the working relationship between Good Guise Studio (referred to as “we”, “our” or “us”) and you, the client (referred to as “you” or “your”). By engaging Good Guise Studio for design services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Scope of Work

We provide branding and design services as outlined in each package description. Any work outside of the agreed package (such as extra revisions, additional collateral, or marketing assets) may be quoted separately and added to your invoice with your approval.

2. Payment Terms

All invoices are issued through Hnry, a New Zealand-based service that securely manages payments and tax compliance on our behalf.

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your project in our schedule.

• The remaining 50% is due upon completion and before final files are delivered.

• Payment instructions will be included in your Hnry invoice.

Please ensure payments are made on time to keep your project moving.
A 5% late fee will be added to any overdue invoice more than 7 days past due.

International Clients
We’re happy to work with international clients. Payment can be made via international bank transfer to our New Zealand-based Hnry account.
Please ensure that any bank or currency conversion fees are covered on your end, so the full invoice amount is received. International payments may take several business days to clear.

3. Timelines & Client Responsibility

Each project has a defined timeframe (e.g., 1–2 weeks for Quick Guise). To keep things running smoothly:

• We rely on you to provide timely feedback (ideally within 2–3 business days).

• Delays in feedback or approvals may shift the project timeline.

• If we don’t hear from you for 14 days, the project may be paused or closed without refund.
  

4. Revisions

Each branding or design package includes a set number of revision rounds as outlined in your proposal.
For all other design work (e.g., print collateral), unless otherwise agreed:

• You are entitled to two rounds of revisions.

• Additional changes or requests beyond the original scope will be quoted separately and may affect the timeline.

We’ll always be transparent about extra costs before proceeding with additional work.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• If you cancel before work begins, your deposit may be refunded (minus any admin or planning time).

• Once design work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.

• If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be refunded for any work not completed.
  

6. Copyright & Usage

• Once full payment is received, you own the rights to the final approved brand assets.

• We retain the right to showcase the work in our portfolio, social media, and promotional materials.

• Unused concepts and drafts remain the property of Good Guise.
  

7. File Delivery

Final files will be delivered in industry-standard formats (e.g., AI, PDF, PNG, JPG, SVG) via a downloadable link.
Please save your files once received — we can’t guarantee long-term storage.

8. Liability

We do our best to ensure everything we create is original and high quality. However, we cannot be held responsible for:

• Legal issues related to trademark availability or registration (we recommend conducting a trademark search).

• Printing or production errors after final files have been approved.

• Good Guise Studio is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss resulting from the use or misuse of our design assets.

• We do not guarantee any specific outcomes (e.g., increased sales or brand reach) from design services.
  

9. Friendly Fine Print

We’re all about good vibes and clear communication. If anything unexpected comes up during your project,
we’ll always be transparent and aim for a fair solution.

We may update these terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on our website and will apply to all new projects from the date of update.
